SSCAC Ballet Theatre
SSCAC Ballet Theatre was elaborately established by Suzhou Science and Cultural Arts Centre. It is the only professional ballet company of Jiangsu province and the sixth one in the whole China.
SSCAC Ballet Theatre was found in June 2007 with the director Ying Li and artistic director Jiabin Pan. The theatre aims at original works and brings forth the fresh, trying to develop dancers’ potential. Dancers whose average age is 22, are all from Beijing Dance Academy and other major ballet theatres of China, making it the youngest and the most energetic group in modern China.
Suzhou Science and Cultural Arts Centre successfully put out SSCAC Ballet Theatre at the first anniversary of the centre. The theatre will stage the original works in the performance hall of the centre, presenting the strength of this professional group. Under the artistic director Jiabin Pan’s instruction, dancers attempt to brand-new style based on classical ballet, trying to make it the most characteristic.
SSCAC Ballet Theatre represents the trend of cultural development of modern Suzhou and the grown-up of the high-quality cultural arts in the New Paradise on Earth.
